Heat Not Burn Devices
Heat Not Burn Dry Herb Vaporizers can provide you with a convenient, highly portable way to benefit from aromatherapy without inhaling potentially toxic smoke. Dry herb vapes are the perfect solution for anyone who wants to be able to enjoy any type of dry herbal material on the go, which includes vaporizing Tobacco as a Heat not Burn device, without the combustion. The freedom of choice!
To start you on your Dry Herb Vaping journey, we’re also selling small quantity loose dry herbs right here from Captain Vapour. Captain Vapour is an official New Zealand reseller of DaVinci, Pax, Arizer, Firefly, and Grenco Science’s highly reviewed GPen products.
Why has all our stock disappeared since May?
Our HEAT NOT BURN portable dry herb vaporizers vaporize tobacco between 120 – 150 degrees celsius perfectly (the correct temperature), and the function is no different than the less advanced tobacco company portable device offerings. A District Court decision case in May 2018 ruled these products can be lawfully sold under the Smoke-free Environments Act 1990 and Ministry of Health have issued an update on June 9th 2018.
We have been advised that our superior quality heat not burn vaporizers/ electro thermic appliances, (portable ovens with ceramic parts) could be used for other purposes than the legal aromatherapy dry herbs we sell, or with tobacco, so not ok, even though previous inspection was ok. (Yes we know heh, so can rolling papers, lighters, domestic ovens, etc…)
We have terminally ill clients who wish to vape herbal remedies shown to work, and they have lost their choice. What is this madness? If clients are choosing to use these devices for CBD vaporizer use, what is stopping them at the gates going to achieve apart from more pain before death? The people don’t understand. What happened to freedom of choice, this nannying approach is questionable.
Dry herb vapes mean no combustion, which is proven healthier. Even Tobacco companies show this! From stopping the bigger hauls, are around 60% of New Zealand going to give up whatever is perceived as a solution to something? Where are all our citizens going to be locked up for not choosing alcohol?
Captain Vapour follows the Ministry Of Health’s directed requirements, following their 9th June 2018 ruling. To understand our May product identification appeal denied, we finally received our OIA request today after making some noise, three months after being requested, and from initial read, the identification methods and details given to the appeal is not what most NZ citizens would see as fair or ok.
Too many people have asked why, and though we had given up on this painful communication process, I believe that we have a right to be given answers to what we are all seeing here.
Last week saw some sense by finally communicating using human voice, and further comms direct on Facebook gained the now two month late OIA request. There is hope people!
**Please be careful if you choose to risk ordering from distribution companies posing to be here in New Zealand or shops overseas. While we see a good percentage allowed through, we have heard reports of extra duty, plus tax bills, complete with a seizure warning letter from customs, due to products actually being sent directly from overseas.
*Please read our Battery safety guide and do your research before using any vaporizers with an advanced battery.
